I’m Lizzie, a 20-something mental health and lifestyle blogger from the West Midlands in England. I love seeking the positive in all situations, spreading kindness, and supporting small businesses. The name ‘Her Golden Hour’ came about from my surname, Solleveld. Traditionally a Dutch surname, it translates to ‘sunny fields’ and I love to think that my family is all about raising each other up and seeing things in the best light we can. I lost my lovely mum to cancer in 2014 and so I know that there are some dark times in life, but, it has only made the Sollevelds stronger and my goal really is to capture the goodness in life and to help people along the way if I can.
